Good News!! Malaysia Releases AlQaeda Operative

Malaysia has released three men held under suspicion of terrorism, including one believed to be linked to a foiled plot in 2002 to crash an aircraft into a U.S. building, a newspaper said on Saturday.

Syed Hamid Albar, the minister in charge of security, confirmed that the three men linked to the Jemaah Islamiah (JI) militant network,including Malaysian Zaini Zakaria, had been freed on Friday, the Star newspaper reported.

Now he will be free to plan and take part in another jihadi adventure.

Expect alQaeda to go apeshit in Pakistan

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A senior U.S. lawmaker said Thursday that unmanned CIA Predator aircraft operating in Pakistan are flown from an airbase inside that country, a revelation likely to embarrass the Pakistani government and complicate its counterterrorism collaboration with the United States.

The disclosure by Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, marked the first time a U.S. official had publicly commented on where the Predator aircraft patrolling Pakistan take off and land.

At a hearing, Feinstein expressed surprise at Pakistani opposition to the ongoing campaign of Predator-launched CIA missile strikes against Al Qaeda targets along Pakistan's northwest border.

"As I understand it, these are flown out of a Pakistani base," she said of the planes.

The aunt has complained of torture of the GITMO prisoners. The brothers are, needless to say, pi**edthat she is representing their family.

Arson Evidence Mounts: Australia Police Release Wildfire Suspect Picture

Such a terrible tragedy. Hope to heck they found this bastage.

Fears are mounting in Australia that arsonists lit one of the deadly wildfires that may have killed as many as 100 people.

Police now suspect arsonists could have caused the deaths of more than 130 people in the weekend's horrific fires.

As another deliberately lit fire broke out in Ivanhoe,in eastern Melbourne, Premier John Brumby confirmed police were investigating the causes of several blazes around the state.

The English-language videos and posts singled out Orthodox Jews, and especially the Chabad-Lubavitch community in the Crown Heights neighborhood in Brooklyn, New York, for attack.

The source of the thinly-veiled threats, a group called Revolution Muslim, is domestic to the United States, and the English-language threats are ,carefully tailored in an attempt to avoid breaking any American laws.

Nonetheless, the intent is clear, according to the Targeted Actionable Monitoring Center (TAM-C) of the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response (ITRR), a U.S. and Israel-based organization with offices in the United Kingdom as well.

The article goes on to explain all the videos they have observed including the one this week.

Al-Khattab is listed as one of three top leaders of the Revolution Muslim group, headed by Sheikh Abdullah el-Faisal. Al-Khattab claims to be Jewish by birth, and has allegedly switched lifestyles numerous times.

The self-styled Islamist says in a personal blog that he was born a Morrocan Jew named Joseph Cohen, then traveled to the United States where he became a member of the anti-Zionist Satmar Chassidic sect in Brooklyn. From there, he writes in a personal blog, he moved to the Jewish region of Gush Katif in Gaza, before finally converting to Islam in Morocco. He presently is allegedly a cab driver in New York City.

According to TAM-C, lone-wolf terrorist attacks on Jewish assets and individuals are a growing phenomenon worldwide, running the gamut from vandalism to shootings and car bombings.[emphasis mine]

The organization has recommended that security personnel for Israeli and other Jewish people and properties “increase their situational awareness, enhance general protective measures for fixed assets and review emergency recovery procedures.”

Father Of USS Cole Victim Refuses To Meet With Obama

Good on him. His family and others awaiting trial of those responsible for this terrible tragedy have literally been screwed. President Saleh of Yemen have released some responsible for this terrible tragedy and now President Obama is going to delay the trial of one who was involved.

Prior US administrations have reacted to this in the same way. There has got to be a time when those responsible for the death of the USS Cole servicemen are finally brought to justice.

Terrorism Politician

Yesterday we were driving back from Houston, Texas from obtaining a passport for my daughter so she could attend the arraignment of al-Nashiri who had helped in the Cole Bombing. We were expecting to leave for Gitmo no later than this Saturday. I knew that Obama would no doubt dismiss the charges against al-nashiri.

Our government has repeatably found excuses so as not to take any action against the Cole bombers and or those who support them. Like the countries of Yemen and the Sudan. So it came as no surprise to me when an Obama's aide called to tell me that we had an invitation to attend a meeting where president Obama would explain his reasons for dismissing the charges against the terrorists. I told him that it was on a short notice and that we would not be attending.

Why attend a meeting when you already know the inevitable outcome. And President Obama has already signed the order to close Gitmo, and a request to stop the trials. Which they did. With only one judge who had the strength, courage and conviction to stand up for the murdered sailors and say that al-nashiri's arraignment would go forward. So anyway I asked the aide if he would please get my letter to Obama instead. He said he would if I faxed it. I had wrote Obama a letter the previous week pleading with him to change his mind. I faxed the letter later that same day. I knew that I would have to tell my wife later on when we got home that our murdered son's trail had become a victim of petty politics. And that she would be upset and hurt yet again.

Thank you Mr Swenchonis for your determination of making our government stand up to the terrorists that killed your son.
