RALEIGH, N.C. — Five Raleigh men accused in a 2009 terrorism plot have pleaded not guilty to the charges.A jury trial will start next month.
Dylan(aka Mohammed) Boyd, Mohammad Omar Aly Hassan, Ziyad Yaghi, Hysen Sherifi and Anes Subasic face multiple felony charges related to allegations they conspired to attack the Marine base in Quantico, Va., and targets overseas. They pleaded not guilty Monday in federal court in Raleigh.
In February of this year the ringleader, Daniel Patrick Boyd (aka Saifullah), plead guilty:
for providing material support to terrorists and conspiring to support terrorism by training and traveling overseas to participate in "violent jihad".Zacharia Boyd plead guilty earlier on a single count of providing material support to terrorists.
Two sons, Zacharia and Dylan (aka Mohammed), certainly took after dear ol' jihadi dad, Daniel Boyd (aka Saifullah).
