Granted, I agree with what he said about disastrous Fast & Furious "gunwalker program" but, what the hell? I suppose "Sgt" Shamar Thomas, the darling of the #OWS movement, got the protection ball rolling with his "outrage over police brutality".
If you Google JT Ready you will come up with "so? He was at rallies and was "endorsed by the Tea Party" coming from the likes of Media Matters/Democrat Underground etc. Ready wore patriotic garb and infiltrated Tea Party rallies. If you remember, a "lot" of phonies deliberately attempted to blend in with true Tea Party patriots in order to discredit the movement.
I suppose Neo-Nazis don't need to hide at #Occupy events. Only teabaggers are raaaacist!!
At the #OccupyAtlanta protest, this man was packing a AK-47, AP buried this down at the bottom of a report about the #OccupyOakland protests:
Mayor Kasim Reed had been supportive of the protests, twice issuing an executive order allowing them to remain.Why was the man there? He didn't agree with the protesters but wanted to protect the rights of people to protest
Reed said on Wednesday that he had no choice to arrest them because he believed things were headed in a direction that was no longer peaceful. He cited a man seen walking the park with an AK-47 assault rifle.

If he had gotten a "dishonorable discharge" in 1996, then under Federal law, he would be permanently prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition.
Yet the SPLC mentions a couple of subsequent arrests during which he possessed firearms but there was no mention of charges FOR firearms possession.
So I would bet his discharge was not "dishonorable", but probably either an "other than honorable" or "bad conduct" discharge.
Words mean things.
