This 15 month old toddler is in the al Mazraq refugee camp, or was. The child may be dead by now. The UN is struggling to save hundreds of children like this one from dying of malnutrition in the Yemeni refugee camps. But due to lack of funding and lack of access, they are really struggling. Tens of thousands of children are outside the camps and beyond the reach of food aid, as the Yemeni government continues to deny access. If there are 200,000 internally displaced Yemenis, than statistically at least 100,000 are under the age of 15. Probably they are dropping like flies. For more, including air raids on civilians, see my category Sa'ada War. Its all very Darfur-like and very sad.
