Shots fired at Pentagon, Marine Corps Museum

Early last Sunday morning, at least five shots believed to be from a rifle were fired into the upper levels of the National Museum of the Marine Corps in Triangle, Virginia. No one was inside at the time, and although quite a bit of damage was done, no injuries were reported.

Then early this morning, another round of gunfire was aimed at the Pentagon. The area hit was under renovation and was unoccupied, and the bullets bounced harmlessly off the bullet-proof windows.

Are we looking at a much less competent DC sniper? Still way to early to tell. But let me put this on record - if the events are related, and the assailant so much as glanced at a copy of Inspire, I hope Sami gets himself a #2 spot on the "kill or capture" list with his mentor. But who am I kidding, the shooter's probably Amish, right?
