WASHINGTON, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Up to four Guantanamo prisoners have been transferred from the detention facility to Spain and Albania, the US Justice Department announced here Wednesday.
The Department said in two separate statements that a detainee from the Palestinian territories has been transferred to Spain, while three other detainees have been transferred to the custody and control of the Government of Albania.
The Palestinian wasn't named for security and privacy reasons, the three other detainees are
aleh Bin Hadi Asasi, a native of Tunisia, Sharif Fati Ali al Mishad, a native of Egypt, and Abdul Rauf Omar Mohammad Abu al Qusin, a native of Libya.
